Practical examples

Ways to use Merge PDF

Put a report before its appendix

Add the report first and the appendix second. The downloaded PDF contains every report page followed by every appendix page.

Build a packet in a specific order

Add several PDFs, then use the arrow buttons to move a cover or supporting document before you merge them into one file.

Before you start

  • Choose 2 to 20 PDFs, up to 100 MB per file and 300 MB combined. Large documents can still exceed your device's available memory.
  • Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked with a valid password before merging. The original files remain unchanged.

Are my PDF files uploaded?

No. Merge PDF is designed to process files locally in your browser.

Yes. You can arrange the selected files before creating the merged PDF.

Does merging change the order of pages inside each PDF?

No. Pages from each source PDF stay in their original order. Move the files before merging to control which document comes first.
